Suomen Mets\u00e4museo Luston n\u00e4yttelyt, kokoelmat, tapahtumat, ty\u00f6n\u00e4yt\u00f6kset ja teemap\u00e4iv\u00e4t kertovat monipuolisesti mets\u00e4st\u00e4 ja mets\u00e4n merkityksest\u00e4 suomalaisten el\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4. Lusto sijaitsee Punkaharjun kansallismaisemassa ja n\u00e4yttelyss\u00e4 viihtyv\u00e4t my\u00f6s perheen pienimm\u00e4t.<\/p>\n

Luston n\u00e4yttely uudistuu ja avautuu yleis\u00f6lle j\u00e4lleen toukokuussa 2024. Uusi ydinn\u00e4yttely kertoo tarinan mets\u00e4n ja ihmisen yhteisel\u00e4m\u00e4st\u00e4, kuudesta eri n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Uudistettu n\u00e4yttely kantaa nime\u00e4 Mets\u00e4suhteiden maa. Museon el\u00e4v\u00e4n perinn\u00f6n ty\u00f6 on n\u00e4kyv\u00e4sti mukana n\u00e4yttelyuudistuksessa. Mets\u00e4suhteet on n\u00e4yttelyn l\u00e4pileikkaava teema ja ne tuodaan esille osana aiempien sukupolvien el\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4, mutta yht\u00e4 lailla osana nykyhetken kokemuksia. Lusto tavoittelee yhteiskunnallisesti entist\u00e4 vaikuttavampaa museotoimintaa, joka yhdist\u00e4\u00e4 menneisyystietoisuuden tulevaisuustaitoisuuteen ja mahdollistaa mets\u00e4suhteidemme pohtimisen yhdess\u00e4 museon k\u00e4ytt\u00e4jien kanssa muuttuvassa maailmassa.<\/p>\n

Museokonseptin uudelleenmuotoilu pit\u00e4\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00e4\u00e4n my\u00f6s palvelu-uudistuksen. Lusto lis\u00e4\u00e4 palvelutarjontaa mm. kokous-, asiantuntija-, kokoelma- sek\u00e4 uusien opastusten kautta. Museolta voi jatkossa tilata my\u00f6s historiakirjoituspalvelun.<\/p>\n

Alkuper\u00e4inen Lusto-rakennus on nimens\u00e4 mukaisesti py\u00f6re\u00e4, kuten puun vuosirengas. Se on valmistunut 1994 ja sen ovat suunnitelleet arkkitehdit Rainer Mahlam\u00e4ki ja Ilmari Lahdelma.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
